Common questions.
Clear answers.
Answers for buyers assessing custom manufacture, overseas production, compliance and project delivery with Catania Group.
What lead times should we allow?
Lead times depend on design maturity, tooling, material availability, production volume, finishing and freight. Once drawings or a specification are reviewed, Catania Group will confirm a practical program and identify any long-lead items before quotation.
Can you quote from drawings or samples?
Yes. We can review drawings, samples, photos, Bills of Materials or tender specifications. If details are incomplete, we will identify the missing information needed to quote responsibly.
Are minimum order quantities required?
Some products or custom tooling will have practical minimum quantities. The MOQ depends on the process, raw materials and setup effort. We will flag MOQ assumptions early so buyers can compare options.
How is quality controlled overseas?
Catania Group manages the specification pathway from Australia and works with named manufacturing partners. Inspection, documentation and acceptance points are agreed for the project before production proceeds.
Can products be made to Australian standards?
Where Australian Standards, project specifications or compliance documents apply, include them with the enquiry. We will review the requirement, confirm manufacturing feasibility and identify required testing or documentation.
Who manages freight and logistics?
Catania Group can coordinate freight discussions from factory through to Australian delivery points, including packaging, consolidation and project-location requirements where needed.
How is intellectual property handled?
Treat confidential drawings and designs as confidential from the outset. Catania Group can work with appropriate confidentiality arrangements before sensitive documentation is shared with manufacturing partners.
What warranty applies?
Warranty terms depend on the product, use case, specification and agreed commercial terms. Any project-specific warranty position should be confirmed in the quotation and purchase documentation.
Can Catania Group support project management?
Yes. Catania Group provides project management services to civil and building contractors under its QBCC licence, alongside product sales and custom manufacturing support.
Can you support new product sales ranges?
Yes. Catania Group distributes Actex products including TREXLOK, TREXPAVE, TREXGEO and TREXSPOT, and will add other innovative products to the sales range over time.
